These were our free choice books last year. I let them chose books for their individual book bags then we switched them out every so often. It was tricky to find books by subject though... we can do better this year!
I printed book labels from the Two Sisters website. It's on the subscription side but you can find many book labels for free on TPT. For more info on organizing your classroom library:

Please, ignore the computer cables! I used colored dots from the office supply store to mark the tubs and the books. I also wrote numbers on the dots. It should have made it simple to keep the books in their tubs. I did borrow older students to help me sort them out from time to time.
